My best friend forgot my birthday is this friday, told me everyone was going to have their first sober weekend and that they were going bowling. I said i wanted to drink because it was going to be my birthday that day. I got a no, like i had asked a question not made a statement. I was told to go bowling with everyone & also have a sober weekend, and that maybe the next weekend i would have my ‘birthday week’ and could drink. I’ve never been so ashamed to have friends like this. Friends that drink every waking second of the weekend and that i wanted one night together and i didn’t even get a choice in anything? I hate people.
